Job Summary

Managing the strategic sourcing and operational delivery of global hotel and offsite meeting programs, the full-time Procurement Category Lead for Hotels & Meetings Services will oversee an annual spend of approximately $40M, focusing on category management, supplier negotiations, and process modernization in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end annual RFP process for preferred hotels, ensuring compliance with federal reimbursement structures
  • Act as the primary operational hub for stakeholders, resolving issues related to hotel bookings and supplier performance
  • Drive the automation roadmap to transition manual workflows into modern, integrated processes using digital tools
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in Procurement, preferably in the travel or hospitality sector
  • Strong category management and contract negotiation experience
  • Proven ability to influence spend decisions using data-driven insights
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and forecasting
  • Experience with hotel pricing, revenue management, and corporate discount programs
