Job Summary
A company is looking for a Procurement Category Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies for assigned categories and manages the strategic sourcing process
- Conducts market research, identifies qualified suppliers, and leads contract negotiations
- Monitors supplier compliance and organizational adherence to vendor agreements while analyzing spending patterns
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in procurement and negotiation of indirect goods and services
- CPM, CPIM, and CPSM certifications preferred
- Solid knowledge of procurement and asset management
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams
