Job Summary
Detail-oriented and process-minded, the freelance Procurement Operations Coordinator will support Sales & Marketing procurement operations remotely by managing purchase request intake, coordinating contract workflows, and assisting with month-end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the purchase request intake queue, ensuring completeness and reducing delays
- Support Slack triage and requester enablement by answering routine questions and escalating blockers
- Assist with month-end close support by running reports on stale/unbilled POs and gathering accrual data
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement operations, accounts payable, finance/accounting, or a related field
- Professional background in managing intake, workflows, and documentation within procurement operations
- Understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and budget alignment
- Experience supporting Sales & Marketing functions
- Strong detail orientation and problem-solving abilities
