Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for various indirect categories
• Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including supplier selection and contract negotiation
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years or a master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management; or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of procurement principles and contract law
• Proficient with procurement software systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in supplier management and achieving cost savings
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
