Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for procurement inquiries, the full-time remote Procurement Specialist will analyze purchase requisitions, initiate orders, and support procurement functions for various student organizations and affiliates, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze purchase requisitions for policy adherence and initiate orders in KFS
  • Determine actions required to issue purchase orders, including reviews for proper documentation and approvals
  • Utilize procurement cards for student organization purchases and support special initiatives of the Director of SCL Strategic Procurement
Required qualifications
  • Associate's degree and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Experience in processing financial transactions related to accounts payable and general ledger
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software tools
  • Successful completion of the University Supply Management Certificate program within the first year of employment
  • Ability to cultivate inclusive working relationships with diverse individuals
