Procurement Specialist Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the purchase of health-related commodities and other supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and manage supplier evaluations
• Provide expert procurement advice throughout the procurement cycle in headquarters and country offices
• Assist in sourcing medicines, diagnostics, and medical equipment, ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, pharmacy, logistics, international development, industrial engineering, or related field
• Minimum seven years of experience in procurement or supply of goods in public or private sectors
• Fluency in Spanish or English, with working knowledge of the other language; knowledge of French or Portuguese is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems
• Certification in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management is an asset
