Procurement Specialist III
Job Summary
To support the material planning process, the full-time hybrid Procurement Specialist III will oversee inventory management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the availability of materials for production while driving strategic improvements.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage advanced material requirements plans (MRP) to support production schedules and contract deliverables
- Analyze demand forecasts and inventory trends to ensure material availability and cost efficiency
- Serve as the primary contact for material planning issues, providing guidance to junior planners and procurement teams
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry
- Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Deltek CostPoint, SAP, or Oracle
- Advanced understanding of material planning processes and inventory management principles
- US Citizenship is required
