Procurement Vehicle Strategist

Job Summary

Owning Nava's procurement vehicle strategy, the full-time remote Procurement Vehicle Strategist will ensure that Capture Engineers and Capture Managers are informed about procurement options in priority states, maintain relationships with procurement vehicle administrators, and operationalize new vehicles to enhance competitive positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen relationships with cooperative purchasing vehicles and state procurement officials to ensure compliance and preferred vendor status
• Identify and operationalize new procurement vehicles and cooperative agreements to fill coverage gaps in key target states
• Lead the operationalization of the NASPO ValuePoint agreement, developing marketing strategies and tracking vehicle performance

Required qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in procurement, contracts, business development, or government acquisition roles
• Working knowledge of cooperative purchasing vehicles and state procurement authority structures
• Understanding of state and local government technology service procurement cycles and pathways
• Experience advising on procurement strategy prior to formal solicitations
• Proven ability to collaborate across business development, legal, finance, and contracts teams
