Product Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the measurement systems for user interactions with Hermes Agent, the full-time Product Analytics Engineer will build analytics infrastructure and utilize data to drive product improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Own product analytics end-to-end, from event design and instrumentation to data modeling and product recommendations
- Implement and maintain analytics instrumentation across various platforms and build reliable data pipelines and dashboards
- Analyze user behavior and segment data to uncover insights, designing experiments to measure the impact of product changes
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar technical role
- Expert SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python, with experience in production application codebases using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience implementing analytics instrumentation across client applications and backend systems
- Experience with modern product analytics platforms such as PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
- Deep understanding of product metrics including activation, engagement, retention, and funnel analysis
