Product Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Product Assurance team in a full-time remote capacity, the Product Assurance Engineer will ensure product quality and compliance by managing projects, conducting vendor audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address product-related issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage larger projects within Product Assurance, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive product quality and compliance
• Lead the Own Brand certification program, ensuring products meet safety and compliance standards through testing and documentation
• Monitor and report product quality issues, providing technical support for inspections and corrective actions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related area, with quality assurance or compliance experience preferred
• ASQ Certification(s) such as CQE, CQA, or CMQ/OE is a plus
• Experience with quality tools including six sigma, lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis methodologies
• Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and regulations, including ASME, ASTM, and CPSC
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce effective solutions for complex issues
