Product Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Product Assurance team in a full-time remote capacity, the Product Assurance Engineer will ensure product quality and compliance by managing projects, conducting vendor audits, and providing technical support to customers while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage larger projects within Product Assurance, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Ensure vendor onboarding processes are followed to meet product quality and compliance targets
• Lead the Own Brand certification program, collaborating with third-party agencies to ensure product safety and compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent quality assurance/compliance experience
• ASQ Certification(s) such as CQE, CQA, or CMQ/OE is preferred
• Experience with quality tools like Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and regulations, including those from CPSC and various certification agencies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce effective solutions to complex issues
