Product Costing Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Costing Consultant to lead product costing initiatives and provide strategic insights for financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage product costing processes, including standard cost development and variance analysis
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and develop cost models for business planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in product costing or cost accounting
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP CO (Product Cost Controlling)
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis
• Experience with month-end close processes and inventory valuation
