Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel to support a high-volume agreement review project related to API integrations and platform connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and summarize API terms and online agreements at scale (target pace: ~6 agreements/hour)
• Identify outsized or atypical material risks
• Negotiate select agreements (estimated 10% or fewer) where risk mitigation is required

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience
• Prior in-house experience at a technology company strongly preferred
• Experience reviewing and negotiating API terms, SaaS agreements, and online Terms of Service
• Strong commercial negotiation background
• Familiarity with product counseling in a tech environment
