Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel to manage legal intake, contracts, and compliance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound legal triage, including subpoenas and government inquiries
• Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and maintain a playbook for deal velocity
• Manage customer security questionnaires and provide product law and AI regulatory guidance

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in legal operations, AI law, contract management, or paralegal work, preferably in SaaS or AI
• Ability to independently manage redlines with sound judgment on escalation
• Technical fluency, including understanding of architecture notes and APIs/security posture
• Familiarity with privacy/security/AI regulations such as GDPR and SOC 2 is a plus
• Strong experience in negotiation and cross-functional collaboration
