Job Summary

Product Counsel Director, responsible for leading the product legal function in a full-time, hybrid role, advising on legal issues related to product launches, privacy, and regulatory compliance while managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product counsel function and manage a high-performing team
• Advise on legal matters throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring compliance and risk management
• Monitor and communicate the impact of evolving global regulations on product initiatives

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 12+ years of legal experience in product and technology matters, both in-house and at a top-tier law firm
• Expertise in areas such as privacy, consumer protection, and intellectual property
• Proven ability to provide practical legal counsel in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing a product counsel or technology law function
