Product Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

Supporting a leading technology company's legal team, the full-time contract Product Counsel (State Licensed) will focus on reviewing marketing materials and product claims while ensuring compliance with global regulatory initiatives in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review marketing materials, including blog posts and presentations, for legal compliance
• Evaluate product and marketing claims for legal risk and substantiation
• Provide legal support on marketing-related commercial agreements and assist with global regulatory compliance activities

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Experience as Product Counsel, Commercial Counsel, or Marketing Counsel
• Background in marketing law, advertising law, or consumer protection
• Experience reviewing product-related marketing claims and customer-facing materials
• Strong legal writing and stakeholder management skills
