Product Design Director

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of designers, the full-time remote Product Design Director will drive design strategy and user-centered practices, manage direct reports, and influence cross-functional collaboration to enhance the Fetch app experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of designers, focusing on design strategy, UI design, and user research
• Drive the design vision and strategy in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Research teams
• Influence cross-functional partners on project scope, priorities, and trade-offs while maintaining a high-functioning design practice

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience in Product Design for consumer products
• 8+ years of relevant experience in consumer mobile app design
• Exceptional eye for detail and proficiency in Figma
• Experience coaching designers on integrating research into their design practices
• Technical acumen in designing for complex problems and tools
