Product Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Design Engineer - Mechanical/Electrical (Remote - US).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate mechanical and electrical components for IoT solutions in industrial rail applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and oversee prototyping, testing, and validation efforts
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation and develop manufacturing plans for product rollouts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in product design and development, focusing on industrial or rugged environments
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with electrical design tools for schematic capture
• Understanding of environmental design and testing procedures and relevant standards
• Experience developing technical documentation, such as assembly manuals and test procedures
