Job Summary
To support innovative product development, the contract Product Design Engineer will explore and prototype user experiences, carry features through to production, and collaborate with software engineers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Explore and prototype to identify effective design solutions for user experiences
- Carry features through to the production front-end, integrating design and code seamlessly
- Engage with users and collaborate with the product squad to frame and shape the scope of what to build
Required qualifications
- Experience in designing and shipping front-end solutions to production
- Strong design judgment and taste, particularly in distinguishing quality interfaces
- Ability to validate designs with real users and make informed decisions on scope
- Fluency in modern web coding practices, including familiarity with AI tooling
- Experience designing data-rich interfaces for professional users, particularly in insurance
