Product Designer

Job Summary

Contributing to an innovative team focused on designing AI-driven content experiences, the contract Product Designer will work remotely to create visually compelling features for the Edge browser and Windows, collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design expressive features for AI news and interest feeds, ensuring alignment with product managers and engineers
• Create cohesive, scalable designs within a complex design system and validate concepts through interactive prototypes
• Present design work in reviews, incorporate feedback, and deliver finalized specifications for engineering handoff

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional product design experience with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing digital products
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in building interactive prototypes and familiarity with front-end technologies
• Strong background in visual design principles, including typography, color, layout, and iconography
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Product Design, or a related field
