Job Summary

Seeking a remote Contract Product Designer, the ideal candidate will design visually compelling features for AI-driven news experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing Figma and vibe coding to deliver high-quality consumer-facing products.

Key responsibilities

• Design expressive, visually compelling features for AI news and interest feeds
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define and deliver product features
• Contribute to design critiques and articulate visual decisions to build stakeholder alignment

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional product design experience with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing digital products
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, fine arts, product design, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity in prototyping tools
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and delivering independently from concept to production
• Bonus: Motion design skills and experience with generative AI tools
