Product Designer

Job Summary

Owning design execution for features and workflows across Built's platform, the full-time remote Product Designer II will lead user research, create user flows and high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience in the construction finance domain.

Key responsibilities

• Own design execution from discovery through delivery for features like draw management and budget tracking
• Lead user research activities, including customer interviews and usability tests, to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and fidelity during implementation

Required qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in product or UX design within a SaaS or digital product environment
• Strong proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, with the ability to work at multiple fidelity levels
• Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end design independently, from research to execution
• Solid understanding of UX research methods and experience leading both generative and evaluative research
• Attention to accessibility and inclusive design best practices is a meaningful plus
