Product Designer (Contract)

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Product Designer (Contract) will own end-to-end design for AI-first news and interest feed experiences, crafting visually compelling features and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design expressive features for an AI-powered news and interest feed, ensuring engaging user experiences
• Own the design process from concept to final engineering handoff for specific features like video experiences and feed personalization
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define and deliver product features through regular working sessions

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional product design experience with a strong visual design background
• Proficiency in Figma, including experience with component systems, interaction flows, and prototyping
• 1+ year of experience with vibe coding interactive prototypes and familiarity with front-end technologies
• Demonstrated experience designing consumer-facing products with an understanding of engagement and usability at scale
• A portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design for consumer-facing digital products is required
