Product Designer - Contract
Job Summary
Owning the design vision and execution for experimental AI-powered learning tools, the part-time Product Designer - Contract will collaborate with a co-design team of educators and researchers to create innovative teacher- and student-facing applications, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design process for AI-powered educational tools in collaboration with teachers and researchers
- Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, and interaction designs for functional prototypes
- Conduct usability testing and validate research questions to inform design decisions
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of design experience with early-stage products
- Experience with research-adjacent or data-intensive user-facing applications
- Proficiency in creating functional prototypes and interaction designs
- Experience in usability testing and validating scientific research questions
- Strong facilitation skills and comfort with ambiguity
