Product Designer, Design Systems

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Designer, Design Systems for a remote position, who will manage and enhance the Alley-oop Design System by creating UI components, supporting product designers, and advocating for design system adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers, managers, and engineers to contribute to and maintain the Design System
• Create and document foundational patterns and UI components while adhering to accessibility standards
• Support cross-functional teams by developing reusable interactive components that streamline workflows

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences, including mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Design Systems and user-centered design processes
• Experience with WCAG compliant and accessible design practices
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable leading workshops and presentations on complex design concepts
