Product Designer, Design Systems

Job Summary

To support a growing digital team, the remote Product Designer, Design Systems will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the Alley-oop Design System, creating reusable UI components and documentation while ensuring accessibility standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to contribute to the Design System
• Create and maintain foundational patterns, UI components, and documentation
• Advocate for the Design System across the organization and support its adoption by cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences, including native apps for iOS and Android
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience with Design Systems and user-centered design processes
• Experience designing for web and native platforms with a focus on accessibility (WCAG compliance)
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable leading workshops and presentations on complex design concepts
