Product Designer, Design Systems

Job Summary

To accelerate the maturity of Noom's design system, the contract Product Designer, Design Systems will work full-time for 3 months, building and scaling design systems in Figma, advising on AI tool integration, and collaborating with engineers to ensure seamless design-to-code translation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale design systems in Figma, including components, variants, and token architecture
• Advise on structuring the design system for reliable AI tool usage and mentor designers on component-building
• Collaborate with engineers to link Figma components to their code counterparts and address Figma-to-production inconsistencies

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in shipping or advancing a large design system
• Deep hands-on knowledge of platform design standards and component architecture
• Experience diagnosing and fixing Figma-to-production inconsistencies
• Strong judgment on when to prioritize Figma vs. code as the source of truth
• Proven ability to help design teams adopt new systems effectively
