Product Designer for Internal Tools

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end design process for internal tools, the full-time Product Designer for Internal Tools will work remotely to enhance developer productivity and collaboration by partnering with engineering and product teams, conducting user research, and contributing to a consistent design language.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design of a portfolio of internal tools from discovery through implementation
• Collaborate with engineering and product managers to define requirements and create usable design solutions
• Conduct research and usability sessions with internal users to validate design decisions and identify unmet needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and visual craft
• Experience designing tools for complex or data-heavy workflows, such as internal or developer tools
• Ability to lead the full design process, from discovery to prototyping and implementation
• Strong systems thinker with a focus on patterns and reusable components
• Proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems
