Product Designer II

Job Summary

Joining the Underwriting module, the full-time remote Product Designer II will own the design of key workbench initiatives, transforming complex underwriting workflows into clear and efficient user experiences while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for assigned initiatives, including problem framing, research, prototyping, validation, and implementation
• Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and product strategy
• Create user flows, diagrams, Figma designs, and coded prototypes to communicate design direction to stakeholders and engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of product design experience, preferably in complex or regulated products
• Portfolio showcasing systems thinking and a research-to-shipping discipline
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with design in an IDE or code-based environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative inputs to inform design decisions
