Product Designer, Payments

Job Summary

Passionate about designing seamless payment experiences, the full-time Product Designer, Payments will create intuitive checkout, payout, and wallet systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams, either remotely or from office hubs in LA, SF, NYC, or Seattle.

Key responsibilities

• Design payment and value experiences across various platforms, including checkout, payouts, and refunds
• Translate complex payment infrastructure and compliance requirements into user-friendly product experiences
• Create wireframes and prototypes for high-stakes money movement problems, focusing on both happy paths and recovery flows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design with a strong portfolio of shipped work
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Protopie
• Deep understanding of user experience design principles, including user research and usability testing
• Proven experience in designing zero-to-one products or new platforms
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms is a plus
