Product Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Detection Engineer to join their Detection and Response team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom fingerprints against scan data to identify risks in Internet services and infrastructure
• Consult with the Data engineering team to enhance scanning infrastructure for better identification accuracy
• Coordinate with Go-to-Market and Sales teams to research and fingerprint emerging vulnerabilities and threats

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in security research, systems security, or network security
• Experience with protocol analysis and knowledge of common protocols like TLS, HTTP, and SSH
• Understanding of network security vulnerabilities and exploit techniques
• Experience with data analysis tools and proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language, preferably Go or Python
