Product Development Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Development Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Own Brand Commercialization team to drive sales, profit and penetration of Own Brands
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strategic supplier relationships focused on short and long-term product development pipeline
• Manage own brand supplier relationships, including directing top-to-top meetings, establishing supplier scorecards, performance metrics, long range plans, and collaborative opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field required
• 10 years of experience in leading retail private brands, merchandising, and/or buying required
• 7 years of experience in understanding retail from a business perspective and a thorough understanding of sourcing, product development and commercialization required
