Product Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Development Engineer to design and develop industrial products and modify existing ones.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in product development for electro-mechanical interconnects for industrial applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to production
• Develop product specifications and support manufacturing during product launches

Required Qualifications

• Experience in product development of electro-mechanical interconnects
• Experience in product design for injection molded and/or metal stamping components
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Experience with CAD software, preferably NX CAD
• Experience in PLM systems and product testing procedures
