Product Documentation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Documentation Engineer to take ownership of documentation processes and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain documentation infrastructure and build automation tooling
• Integrate AI into content workflows and embed documentation into the engineering lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering, product, support, and customer success teams to create clear, structured content

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Documentation Engineer, Developer Advocate, or Software Engineer with a focus on documentation
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go)
• Experience in Docs-as-Code environments, Git-based workflows, and static site generators
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and developer-facing documentation
• Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and their application in content workflows
