Product Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Engineer (Remote) (US time zones).

Key Responsibilities

• Build a world-class open-source observability platform capable of handling over 1 million events per second
• Engage with the community and evangelize the product while working on high volumes of data and real-time applications
• Conduct code reviews and optimize queries on billions of records while applying design patterns and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in backend engineering using Go
• Experience with Java is a plus
• Familiarity with concurrency concepts in Go, including locks and channels
• Hands-on experience with optimizing indexes and working with large datasets
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for software development
