Product Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the flagship scrape product end-to-end, the full-time Product Engineer will enhance the API that converts URLs into clean, LLM-ready data, focusing on reliability and developer experience in a hybrid or remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the scrape product's performance, ensuring optimal response formats, latency, and error handling
• Drive improvements in the output quality and structured extraction to enhance developer trust and usability
• Conduct rapid product experiments to iterate on features based on user feedback and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in shipping developer-facing products, particularly in scraping, crawling, or data infrastructure
• Strong understanding of web scraping challenges, including handling JavaScript-heavy content and anti-bot systems
• Proficiency in both product and engineering aspects, capable of defining and implementing API specifications
• Experience with building LLM-ready data structures and familiarity with markdown formatting
• Background in developing APIs that prioritize developer experience and usability
