Product Engineer

Job Summary

To support the integration of healthcare systems, the full-time Product Engineer will design and build connections between Plenful and external platforms, focusing on APIs and data exchange, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Plenful and external healthcare systems such as EMRs and payors
• Manage data flow and decision-making processes by transforming and processing data from multiple external sources
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical implementations and improve live integrations

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in a software engineering or integration-focused role
• Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
• Experience working with REST APIs and external data exchange systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with healthcare data formats such as EDI X12 and FHIR is highly preferred
