Product Engineer - Design Automation

Job Summary

To support the development of next-generation semiconductor technologies, the remote contract Product Engineer - Mask Release & Design Automation will coordinate photomask release activities, support semiconductor tape-out operations, and develop automation solutions to enhance chip assembly and mask release workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute photomask release activities to align with semiconductor tape-out schedules
• Prepare and validate reticle orders for external mask manufacturers
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools for chip assembly and mask release processes

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor design, mask release, tape-out, or design automation
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with semiconductor EDA tools such as Synopsys ICVWB or Cadence Virtuoso
• Proficiency in Python and Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline
