Product Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Serving as the primary US-based interface between Product Engineering and Operations, the full-time Forward Product Engineering Lead will manage product health, manufacturing readiness, and operational communication as networking products transition from development to high-volume manufacturing, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing awareness of product health, manufacturing readiness, and execution status across networking products
• Translate technical engineering information into actionable insights for Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain teams
• Act as the first responder for product-related operational crises, coordinating engagement of engineering experts and driving structured communication

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, manufacturing, or operations
• Deep understanding of the semiconductor lifecycle from silicon development through volume manufacturing
• Experience as a technical liaison between engineering and operations
• Strong understanding of yield management, test operations, and NPI-to-MP transitions
