Product Lead Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical initiatives within multiple Agile scrum teams, the full-time remote Product Lead Engineer will guide the development of complex software features, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high engineering standards while actively contributing code.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority, making implementation decisions and guiding end-to-end delivery of features across various platforms
• Conduct code reviews and mentor software engineers to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver reliable features on schedule

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, particularly in production SaaS environments
• Deep proficiency in PHP and JavaScript/React, including design patterns and security best practices
• Strong command of relational database design and SQL optimization (MySQL/MariaDB)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and upskill less experienced engineers
