Product Legal Counsel
Job Summary
Working as part of the global legal team, the full-time Product Legal Counsel will lead contract negotiations for commercial agreements, provide legal advice across various business groups, and support the expansion into new geographies while managing legal risks.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex financial services agreements and license agreements with domestic and international partners
- Develop and recommend the company's position on legal issues, providing analysis on compliance matters including data privacy and regulatory issues
- Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure agreements align with company strategy and policies
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor with 5 to 7 years of legal experience
- Substantial experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Previous experience in financial services, payment processing, or the technology/digital industry
- Adept at building successful relationships with internal and external customers
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and multitask effectively
