Job Summary
To support Federal Student Aid's mission, the full-time remote Product Management Subject Matter Expert will translate user needs into actionable product strategies, mentor product owners, and facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Mentor product owners on product-management practices and facilitate roadmap development
- Translate mission and user needs into product capabilities and measurable objectives
- Support backlog refinement and ensure alignment with defined product outcomes
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management or related technology fields
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software delivery
- Experience developing product roadmaps and managing complex backlogs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile and iterative delivery methods
