Product Manager

Job Summary

Providing strategic direction for a cross-functional scrum team, the full-time remote Product Manager will define the product vision and roadmap for migrating a legacy Java application to a modern REST-based platform, collaborating closely with engineers and VA stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives and user needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and maintain a prioritized product roadmap for the legacy-to-REST migration
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating migration requirements into features, epics, and user stories
• Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure development aligns with product goals

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles
• Experience with healthcare IT modernization or legacy system migration initiatives
• Agile or delivery certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, CSM)
• Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum) and experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs
