Product Manager, Accounts

Job Summary

Owning a core sub-surface of Alpaca's brokerage accounts domain, the remote Product Manager, Accounts will manage KYC/identity verification and account types while collaborating with partners and developers to ensure API-driven capabilities are effectively adopted.

Key responsibilities

• Drive prioritization, API design, and rollout for one core accounts sub-surface, ensuring alignment with partner needs
• Ship products at a high cadence by writing clear PRDs, aligning with engineering, and producing implementable documentation
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on product decisions related to licensing and identity verification in a regulated environment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or startups, preferably in brokerage, fintech, or identity infrastructure
• Proven experience shipping B2B/developer-facing products, such as SDKs and APIs
• Demonstrated depth in at least one accounts surface, like KYC or account types, shipped to production scale
• Experience analyzing data using SQL and relevant BI tools
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent
