Product Manager, Independent Contractor

Job Summary

To support the development of educator- and student-facing products, two experienced Product Managers, Independent Contractors will work remotely on a fractional basis for up to 20 hours per week, focusing on product discovery, development, and internal team coaching over a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product discovery and scoping process, defining vision, requirements, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders
• Build and refine products end-to-end, coordinating with internal teams and external engineers to ensure alignment and readiness for deployment
• Support aiEDU's internal learning by coaching staff on product development best practices and creating documentation for future use

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including leading product development from concept to launch
• Hands-on experience as an AI power user, integrating AI into product development processes
• Significant expertise in UI/UX front-end development
• Technical fluency with experience in data infrastructure, security, and privacy considerations
• Proven ability to conduct discovery processes and user testing with a strong empathy for educators and students
