Product Manager, Inference

Job Summary

Owning the LiveKit Inference roadmap, the full-time remote Product Manager, Inference will set the vision and strategy for a key revenue-generating product, partnering with engineering to enhance model accessibility and maintain competitive advantage in the voice AI landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Set a clear vision and sequenced plan for the LiveKit Inference product, collaborating with engineering on development timelines
• Ensure the model layer is the preferred choice for developers, improving ease of access and integration over direct model providers
• Monitor the evolving model landscape to determine which models and providers to incorporate, ensuring LiveKit remains a leader in the space

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on developer-facing APIs, platforms, or AI/ML products
• Strong technical understanding of model serving, routing, latency, and quality tradeoffs
• Experience managing products where cost, performance, and vendor tradeoffs are critical
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams through clarity and trust rather than hierarchy
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging in both strategic and technical discussions
