Product Manager, Platform

Job Summary

Owning the platform strategy and infrastructure, the full-time remote Product Manager, Platform will manage shared technical foundations, drive integration strategies, and govern data architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and manage the platform roadmap, prioritizing infrastructure investments and coordinating with product-line PMs
• Oversee integration infrastructure strategy, ensuring reliability and data integrity for connections to tax preparation software
• Govern data architecture and security, partnering with compliance teams to maintain certification and enforce secure document handling

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience, including 2 years focused on platform or infrastructure products
• Strong technical fluency with APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
• Experience building internal platforms or shared services for multiple product teams
• Proven ability to define SLAs and manage technical debt while making pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions
• Excellent written communication skills for producing clear PRDs and technical specifications
