Job Summary
Focused on enhancing Scripps Sports products, the full-time remote Product Manager, Sports will translate business needs into actionable requirements, manage product backlogs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution and innovation in AI and automation tools.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and manage the product backlog in Atlassian (Jira)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan sprints, track delivery progress, and address any arising issues
- Build low-fidelity prototypes and mockups to validate concepts and identify opportunities for AI or automation enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in digital and product management or a related field
- Experience in product management, software development, or technical project coordination
- Familiarity with agile/scrum practices and tools like Jira
- Experience with data analysis and interpreting performance metrics
