Job Summary

Owning the pricing and packaging strategy, the remote Product Monetization Lead will manage a portfolio of initiatives, build financial models, and execute go-to-market strategies to enhance Shopify's revenue across various product areas.

Key responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that create and capture value from merchants throughout their journey
  • Conducting commercial analysis, including scenario modeling and margin analysis, in collaboration with Finance
  • Leading cross-functional pricing initiatives from strategy development to execution, including stakeholder engagement and presentations to executive leadership
Required qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product management, or corporate strategy, with at least 3+ years in direct pricing ownership at a technology or SaaS company
  • Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from first principles and defend assumptions to stakeholders
  • Proven go-to-market experience, including rollout plans and merchant communications
  • Demonstrated capability to navigate between pricing strategy, financial modeling, and execution across various teams
  • A self-starter mentality with a track record of identifying and addressing process gaps proactively
