Product Owner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Owner with a focus on billing and payments, preferably from an insurance background, for a fully remote contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and prioritization of the payments backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and manage product-level KPIs
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories are prioritized for the squad/team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 to 5 years of experience with agile teams
• 7 years of experience in business, technology, or consulting
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholders
